Huddle Week 8 Resources

Resources adapted from KC Underground’s Missionary Pathway Tool.

The first stop in the missionary pathway is to discover whom God is calling us to disciple and with whom God is asking us to partner on this adventure. Disciple-making begins with us first abiding in Jesus. It begins with us knowing the heart of God, recognizing His voice through Bible study and prayer, and then obeying His words. Abiding well in Christ will help us gain clear insight into whom Jesus wants us to disciple and where He is calling us to be on mission.

This week’s Scripture Reading:

Please read Acts 6 - 10 and Psalm 31, and take notes in your Discipleship Huddle journal.

To - Do’s:

The video below unpacks the three things you need as you begin them Missionary Pathway journey: extraordinary prayer and fasting, identifying your missional context, and finding teammates.

Making disciples of not-yet followers of Jesus is not theoretical. If we don’t know to whom God has called us, then everything in this huddle becomes mere information.

  1. Watch the video below explaining the Relationships Mapping Exercises.

  2. Download the mapping tool and spend time mapping out your current relationships and contexts of life. These two exercises will help you see with whom you already rub shoulders in life adn with whom you can potentially begin your prayer and discipleship journey.
