We long to see Gospel Saturation and Disciple Making Movements take over our towns and cities. The amazing news is that God is already doing similar things around the world and we have the opportunity to join Him. This week we will go over a brief overview of what the Lord is doing through movements and help us begin to see our place in them.

As followers of Jesus, with the Holy Spirit dwelling inside each and every one of us, we are fully equipped to join God on mission, and make new disciples.

The “Missionary Pathway” is a reverse-engineered descriptive process of disciple-making movements worldwide. Similar to what we see in culturea all around the world, we long to see Gospel Saturation and Disciple Making Movements take over our towns and cities. We do this by following in the footsteps of Jesus, who modeled for us a strategy of multiplication: empowering the few to reach the many.

For the rest of our time in Discipleship Huddle, we will walk out the practical steps of joining God on mission in our specific context, with the hope and intention of seeing new disciples and new MicroChurches emerge. This week will provide a brief overview of what the Lord is doing through movements and help us begin to see our place in them.

Discovery Bible Study (DBS) is a disciple-making tool that functions as the practical, strategic engine of Disciple Making Movements all around the world. This method is a great way to share the good news of Jesus and form new disciples in an interactive, Holy Spirit led format. In a DBS group, spiritually interested people read a Bible story together, discover what it says, and then are challenged to immediately live out what they learned and share it with someone else. DBS groups are often the DNA of spiritual families that grow into MicroChurches.

We’ll dive deeper into DBS studies later in our Huddle. But, for now, watch this training video and begin incorporating the DBS practices into your daily readings.
