Tell about a time someone kept a promise they made to you.
How do you feel when it takes a long time to do something?
Why can we talk to God on our own now without a priest or a temple?
Build something together as a family such as a puzzle, model rocket, or an interlocking block structure.
Pray a prayer of dedication for your home that all who enter its doors would know the love of God through Jesus.

Family Activity: Build a house of cards, and then knock it down. Talk to your kids about Jesus’ promise to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days. (John 2:19-22) Rebuild the house of cards and explain what Jesus meant.
Journal: Write or draw a few sentences describing how you feel knowing that you are never alone. Remember, God dwells with His people.
