YOTB Lecture :: Human Origins :: February 25th @ 6pm

If you’ve ever had questions about creation and how we read the Bible in our modern age this is for you! In our second lecture of the year, we will hear from author and Old Testament Scholar, Dr. John Walton on the topic of Human Origins. His lecture will provide insight into the Ancient Near East texts and translation of Genesis 2-3 to provide a greater understanding of human origins.

THE BE FREE WOMEN'S RETREAT

We are so excited for our first ever Renew Women weekend retreat on April 27-28 at Sawmill Creek Resort! Please consider joining us for a weekend of community, great teaching on the topic of Freedom, worship, and fun! Register here.

HUDDLES

There's still time to join a huddle! If you weren't able to attend one of the informational meetings following either gathering last Sunday, visit the Connections Table for a list of huddles starting this month, and email the leader to get connected!

ALPHA

Everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view. Alpha is a series of sessions doing just that. Each talk looks at a different question and is designed to create open conversation. Everyone is welcome. Alpha will begin Thursday, March 1 @ 6:30PM and run for 11 consecutive weeks. Dinner will be provided. You can register on Renew’s website. For more information email Joe Kosar at jjk1097@gmail.com.

GIVING TO RENEW

Giving boxes are located in the back of the gathering area for your offerings/donations.  Gifts can be given to support the general budget as well as the benevolence fund for those in need. You can also give online at renewcommunities.com/give.
